*Bonobo: "Kerala" (Migration 2017) British musician, producer & DJ Simon Green based in LA. His electronic sound incorporates live instrumentation and experimentation with jazz and world music.

*Bohemianvoodoo: "For Tomorrow" (Bouquet - EP 2020) Japanese jazz group feat. Bashiry on guitar, Nassy on bass playing jazz, smooth jazz & jazz fusion.
*Kiyoshi Yamaya & Kifu Mitsuhashi: "Asadoya Yunta" (Wamono Groove: Shakuhachi & Koto Jazz Funk '76 2022) KY: sax, composer & bandleader since 1950s passed away 2002. KM: Shakuhachi player master of the Kinku style and member of Tokyo International Music Ensemble.
*Seatbelts: "The Egg And You" (Cowboy Bebop Soundtrack 2 1998) Japanese band led by singer, composer and instrumentalist Yoko Kanno. The band was assembled by Kanno to play the music to the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack.

*Las Cafeteras: "Tiempos De Amor" (Tastes Like L.A. 2016) Latin band from East LA their music fuses spoken word & folk music, Afro-Mexican rhythms with son jarocho and zapateado dancing.
*Banda Magda: "El Pescador" (Yerakina 2014) Led by Greek singer, accordionist and composer Magda Giannikou their songs are sung in 7 different languages and embrace a range of cultural influences.

* The Electones: "Black Veil Down" (If You'll Be Null, I'll Be Void 2009) Norwegian jazz/electronic/pop group feat. Jens Petter Nilsen, Hallvard Hagen and vox. Rita Augestad Knudsen. Nilsen and Hagen also form Xploding Plastix.

*Esperanza Spalding: "Earth To Heaven" (Emily's D+Evolution 2016) Am. bassist, singer/songwriter & composer. Began playing professionally as a violinist with the Chamber Music Society of Oregon at age 5. She has won 5 Grammys, a Boston Music Award & a Soul Train Music Award.
*Kinny: "The Love Cats" (Can't Kill A Dame With Soul 2011) Canadian singer Caitlin Simpson is half Jamaican and half Indigenous Canadian. Classically trained opera singer loves reggae and jazz. Lives in Norway.
*Kylie Auldist & The Bamboos: "No Use" (Just Say 2008) Samoan-Australian soul and funk vox. Moved from far west outback town of Broken Hill to Melbourne to pursue her singing career.
