*Blktop Project: "From Here To Where" (Blktop Project 2006) Tommy Guerrero, Ray Barbee & Matt Rodriguez began playing together on tour as skateboarders for SLAP magazine. They added drummer Chuck Treece and became Blktop Project.

*Spy From Cairo: "Marseilles Noir" (Arabadub 2012) Italian Gypsy producer/composer/musician living in NY, Moreno Visini, aka Zeb has produced albums as Zeb and Organic Grooves as well as multiple remix projects.

*Hugh Masekela: "Ade" (Hugh Masekela & The Union Of South Africa 1971) So. Afr. flugelhorn, trumpet & cornet player exiled during apartheid returned when apartheid ended. Died 1/2018 in Johannesburg.
*Margaret Singana: "Ubukhwele" (Nothing To Fear 1981) So. Afr. singing star dubbed 'Lady Africa' had great success in the '70s and came back after a suffering a stroke in 1978.
*Jabula: "Mathome" (Africa Awake 1978) So. Afr. ensemble exiled to England during Apartheid. They met and formed in London in 1974.

*Quantic & Nidia Gongora: "Balada Borracha" (Almas Conectadas 2021) English producer/multi-inst. Will Holland in collaboration with N.Gongora Pacific folklorist sing/songwr. from Colombia & front woman for Grupo Canalon.
*Adrian Quesada: "El Muchacho De Los Ojos Tristes feat. Tita" (Boleros Psicodelicos 2022) One of only 2 cover songs on the album conceived, written & performed by AQ. Tita: Mariana Moreno indie-pop singer from Guatemala.
