*Ezra Collective: "King Of The Jungle" (You Can't Steal My Joy 2019) London based jazz collective led by drummer Femi Koleoso along with bassist TJ Koleoso.
*Don "Sugarcane" Harris: "Which Way Is The Bathroom" (Keep On Driving 1970) Amer. singer, violinist & guitarist died 11/30/99. Noted for his blues-fusion violin with Frank Zappa, Johnny Otis & John Mayall

*The Claypool Lennon Delirium: "Bubbles Burst" (Monolith Of Phobos 2016) Amer. rock band featuring bassist/vocalist Les Claypool from Primus and guitarist/vocalist Sean Ono Lennon of GOASST. Lennon describes the music as 'progadelic.' (Psychedelic/progressive rock)

*Belleruche: "Bump" (Turntable Soul Music 2007) Three piece electronic soul band fm the UK. featured singer Kathrin DeBoer was active from 2005 - 2013.

*Steele Beauttha: "Africa" (Africa Stomp/Africa - Single 1976) African singer who passed away at age 54.
*Mulatu Astatke: "Metche Dershe" (Ethiopiques, Vol. 4 Ethio Jazz 69-74 ) Multi-inst. Father of Ehtiopian jazz mixed jazz and latin music with trad. Ethiopian music to create EthioJazz.
*Malombo Jazz Men: "Abie's Mood" (Next Stop Soweto... ) Formed in 1964 in London by guitarist Philip Tabane and flautist Abe Cindi shortly before Tabane formed his band Jabula.
*Hailu Mergia & The Walias: "Ibakish Tarekigne" (Tche Belew 1977) Ethiopian keyboardist Hailu Mergia now based in Wash. DC played with the Walias during Ethiopia's "golden age" of music in the 1970s.

*Gina Chavez: "Quita La Cadena" (La Que Manda - EP 2020) Award winning queer, Latinx artist from Austin TX. La Que Manda translates to "The Woman In Charge" and tells the story of a woman coming into her own power.
*Adrian Quesada: "Mentiras Con Carino feat. ILE" (Boleros Psicodelicos 2022) Multi-inst. producer composer A Quesada compiled & composed this collection of boleros. iLe: Ileana Mercedes Cabra Joglar is a Puerto Rican singer & composer.
*Novalima: "Mil Noches feat. Pahua)" (La Danza, Pt. 2 - EP 2023) Mexican sing/songwr. producer Pahua, (pa-wa) joins Peruvian collective who's members span Lima, Barcelona, London & Hong Kong on Part 2 of their La Danza EPs.

*St. Germain: "So Flute (Ludovic Navarre Amapiano Reprise)" (Extra Cabin Baggage 2023) French musician Ludovic Navarre's St. Germain stage name refers to "The Count Of St. Germain" an 18th century man who claimed to be several hundred years old.
*Jethro Tull: "Bouree" (Stand Up 1969) British rock group feat. Ian Anderson on flute and vox. The bouree was originally a French dance tune from the Baroque era adapted by Ian Anderson.
*Dorothy Ashby: "Rascallity" (In A Minor Groove 1958) Amer. jazz harpist Dorothy Ashby teamed up with flutist Frank Wess for this excursion into jazz harp and flute.

*Everything But The Girl: "Ballad Of The Times" (Love Not Money 1985) Tracey Thorn (sing/songwr.)  & Ben Watt (guitar, keys, singer/songwr.) Love Not Money, their 2nd album is part of their early sophisti-pop and jazz period.
*The Roches: "Missing" (Another World 1985) Sisters Maggie, Terre & Suzzy Roche are singer songwriters who got their break when Paul Simon hired them as back up singers for "There Goes Rhymin' Simon"

*The Rutles: "Piggy In The Middle" (The Rutles 1977) Born from the brilliant Beatles send up from the minds of Neil Innes and Eric Idle, The Rutles mashes up Beatles tunes while lampooning their fame and celebrity. Both the film, (All You Need Is Cash) and music are highly recommended.
