*Tribalistas: "Velha Infancia" (Tribalistas 2002) Brazilian 'supergroup' with Arnaldo Antunes, Marisa Monte & Carlinhos Brown. They released Tribalistas in 2002. The group reunited in 2017 to write and record a new album also called Tribalistas.
*Farofa Carioca: "Moro No Brasil" (Moro No Brasil 1998) Brazilian group formed by Seu Jorge in the 90s were a socially conscious group that fought racism with their rock, pop, rap, reggae, samba & funk.
*Tim Maia: "Que Beleza" (World Psychedelic Classics 4 ) Brazilian guitarist & singer known as the father of Brazilian soul music. Maia introduced modern black music from the US to the national pop music of Brazil.

*Tony Allen & Hugh Masekela: "Never (Lagos Never Gonna Be The Same)" (Rejoice 2020) Nigerian drummer TA was the drummer with Fela Kuti during the creation of the 'afrobeat' sound. HM was an exiled So. Afr. trumpet, flugelhorn player during apartheid.
*Sweet Talks: "Mapam Sukuruwe" (Adjoa ) Ghanian Highlife band led by Smart Nkansah & A.B. Crentsil. AKA Super Sweet Talks.
*Shadow Abraham With Mono Mono Friends: "Omo Yen We Mi" (Compound Focker EP 2022) Nigerian musician & composer Shadow Abraham teamed up with Mono Mono led by Sierra Leone born Joni Haastrup (vox & keys.)

*Randa & The Soul Kingdom: "What You Need" (What You Need 2011) Rhythm 'n' blues band from Perth Australia. Jordan born singer/songwr. Randa Khamis fronts this high energy soul band. She grew up in the working class suburbs of Perth and pursued a singing career from an early age.
*Marta Ren & The Groovelvets: "2 Kinds Of Men" (Single 2013) Marta Ren is a Portuguese soul singer and purveyor of deep funk & raw soul with her 8 piece outfit The Groovelvets.
*Lack Of Afro: "Making It Right feat. Juliette Ashby" (Music For Adverts 2014) British multi-inst. producer, remixer & DJ Adam Gibbons. JA: British sing/songwr. mixes R&B, reggae & neo soul.

*The Meters: "Fire On The Bayou" (Very Best ) Seminal Amer. funk band formed by Zigaboo Modaliste, George Porter Jr., Leo Nocentelli & Art Neville in 1965 N.O. 
*Sono Rhizmo: "Gimme Gimme" (Sono Rhizmo 2007) German musician Ralf Droesemeyer combines trip hop, ambient and experimental electronic components into his compositions with Sono Rhizmo and as half of the duo Mo' Horizons.

*Rodrigo Y Gabriela: "Triveni" (11:11 2009) Mexican guitar duo of Rodrigo Sanchez, lead guitar & Gabriela Quintero, rhythm guitar. Feeling limited in Mexico, they moved to Europe where their career took off. 
*Money Chicha: "Cosa Verde" (Echo En Mexico 2016) Psychedelic cumbia band from Austin TX feat. Adrian Quesada & members of Brownout & Grupo Fantasma.
*Quantic: "Sol Clap" (Magnetica 2014) Will Holland is an English multi-inst. producer, composer & DJ who moved to Colombia for 7 years to pursue his love of latin music recording as Ondatropica, Flowering Inferno & with His Combo Barbaro. 

*Quicksilver Messenger Service: "I Found Love" (Quicksilver 1971) Amer. psychedelic rock band formed in SF in 1965 was one of the originators of the "San Francisco Sound" even though that sound was very diverse and individual to each group.
*Stephen Stills: "Old Times Good Times: (Stephen Stills 1970) Amer. singer/songwr. guitarist was in Buffalo Springfield and Crosby Stills & Nash (Young). Prolific songwr. and performer.
*Steely Dan: "Change Of The Guard" (Can't Buy A Thrill 1972) Amer. rock band formed in 1972 by Donald Fagen (keys, vox) & Walter Becker (guitars, bass, backing vox) Becker & Fagen retired from touring in 1974 to become a studio band.
*The Neville Brothers: "Healing Chant" (Yellow Moon 1989) Aaron, Art, Charles & Cyril formed their family band in 1977 in N.O. Won 1990 Grammy for Healing Chant: Best Pop Instrumental Performance.
