*Crowd Company: "On This Love You Can Count feat. Ryan Zoidis & Eric Bloom" (Lowdown 2020) UK band's sound is a modern take on classic soul, funk, blues and modern jazz. 
*Aja West & Friends: "I Don't Need Love" (Total Recall 2012 2007) Funk, hip hop, soul & jazz composer & producer Aja West led his group The Mackrosoft as well as the Mackrosoft record label. West passed away in 2022 from heart failure.

*Adrian Quesada: "One Woman Man feat. Aaron Frazer & David Hidalgo" (Look At My Soul: The Latin Shade Of Texas Soul 2018) Austin TX based producer, multi-inst., composer also works in Black Pumas, The Echocentrics, Spanish Gold & Money Chicha as well as multiple solo projects.
*Ronnie Marks: "Some Lonely Heart" (The Soul Of Spanish Harlem 2009) Ronnie Marks was one of the innovators of the 'Latin Soul' genre in the 60s. He worked with Johnny Pacheco & Mongo Santamaria.
*War: "Lonely Feelin'" (Anthology 1970-1994) 70s California funk group made their initial recordings with Eric Burdon of The Animals They later recorded on their own and peaked in the mid 70s with their no. 1 hit "Low Rider."

*The Temptations: "Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me) (Sky's The Limit 1971) Motown vocal group known for their distinct harmonies, choreography & matching wardrobe the group was very influential in the evolution of R&B & soul music.
*Stevie Wonder: "All In Love Is Fair" (Innervisions 1973) Amer. multi-inst., composer, singer, humanitarian & social activist inducted in Song Writers HOF 1983 R&R HOF 1989 (performer)
*Marvin Gaye: "That's The Way Love Is" (M.P.G. 1969) Amer. sing/songwr. musician with a 3 octave vocal range. He started in the 50s with The Moonglows and began his solo career in the 60s. Tragically shot & killed by his father Marvin Gay Sr. on Apr. 1 1984.

*Yellow Magic Orchestra: "Lotus Love" (Naughty Boys 1983) Japanese electro pop band with Haruomi Hosono (bass, composer) Yukihiro Takahashi (drums) & Ryuichi Sakamoto (keys, composer.) Originally meant to be a one-off project from Hosono, the album became very popular and started their careers as YMO.
*Sadistic Mika Band: "Citron Girl" (Sadistic Mika Band 1973) Japanese glam/rock funk/rock band formed by guitarist Kazuhiko Kato after experiencing glam rock in London in 1972. Then wife Mika Kato & lead guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka were in the group from the beginning.
*Masayoshi Takanaka: "Straight From Your Heart" (Singing' And Guitar Beat Selection ) Chinese-Japanese guitarist changed his name to Takanaka after becoming a naturalized Japanese citizen. His pro debut was with Apryl Fool (w/H. Hosono) wearing his school uniform.
*Nujabes: "Luv (sic), Pt. 3 Ta-ku Remix Instrumentals" (Luv(sic) Hexology ) Japanese hip hop producer Jun Seba died in a traffic accident at the age of 36 in 2010.

HOUR 2

*Speedy Consuela: "Sukka Suited" (The New Gold Standard 2006) Married musicians Joyce Raskin & Steve Raskin from the Fort Knox stable, produced a number of songs as Speedy Consuela. They also appear in Thunderball & Fort Knox Five.
*Thunderball: "Runaway feat. Miss Johnna M" (12 Mile High 2010) Wash. DC based trio of Sid Barcelona, Steve Raskin & Rob Myers working on the Eighteenth St. Lounge label.
*Shawn Lee: "Cruel Woman feat Fanny Franklin" (Soul In The Hole 2009) Amer. multi-inst. producer & composer now living in London Shawn Lee, FF: lead singer for Orgone for 7 1/2 years.

*Fleetwood Mac: "Rattlesnake Shake" (Then Play On 1969) Formed by Peter Green & Mick Fleetwood in 1967 were a major force in the British blues scene. When Peter Green experienced a "personal crisis" in 1970 Mick F. led the group through a multitude of personnel changes that were Fleetwood Mac.
*Jackson Browne: "Redneck Friend" (For Everyman 1973) Amer. sing/songwr. political activist based in Los Angeles known for deeply personal story/songs.
*The Who: "Pictures Of Lily" (Pictures Of Lily 7" 1967) British Invasion rock group feat. Pete Townshend (composer, guitarist, singer) Roger Daltrey (lead singer, harmonica) John Entwhistle (bass, vox) & mad drummer Keith Moon.

*Rickie Lee Jones: "Chuck E.'s In Love" (Rickie Lee Jones 1979) Amer. jazz pop singer musician & songwriter. She won best new artist Grammy for RLJ in 1980.
*Roy Ayers: "Mystery Of Love feat. Merry Clayton" (Virgin Ubiquity Unreleased Rec. 76-81) Amer. funk soul/jazz composer & vibraphone player. MC: Soul, R&B, gospel, blues & disco singer was an original Raelette with Ray Charles and featured in the documentary "20 Feet From Stardom."
*Kylie Auldist: "Still Into You" (Just Say 2008) Samoan-Australian Soul & Funk singer moved from far Western New South Wales to Melbourne to pursue her musical career where she was noticed by Lance Ferguson and recruited to sing with his band The Bamboos.

*De-Phazz: "I Sing feat. Pat Appleton" (Prankster Bride 2016) German downtempo jazz ensemble led by producer, sound painter Pit Baumgartner. Pat Appleton is a singer/songwr. collaborating with De-Phazz as well as other nu jazz artists in Europe and beyond.
