*Alpacas Collective: "Surrounded" (Big Words 2023) Belgian funk band flavored with afro, boogaloo, jazz,  soul & oriental sounds. 
*Brother Lee & Golden Rules: "Winter Sky" (The Originals 3 2023) Brother Lee is Lee Skelly a multi-inst., studio musician & DJ from London, Eng.

*Everything But The Girl: "Ballad Of The Times" (Love Not Money 1985) Tracey Thorn & Ben Watt are known for a jazz vs. electronic sound, but Love Not Money feels more like conscious indie rock to me. Thought provoking  lyrics and Tracey's dynamic vox shine throughout.
*The Roches: "Missing" (Another World 1985) Three songwr. sisters from NJ, Maggie, Terre & Suzzy use incredible harmonies to present their beautiful compositions.
*Rock Follies: "Biba Nova" (Rock Follies 1976) Charlotte Cornwell, Julie Covington, & Rula Lenska portrayed "The Little Ladies" in this BBC series about a touring rock band led by 3 female singers. Brilliant music provided by Andy Mackay, (Roxy Music) script & lyrics by Howard Schuman.

*Roy Ayers, Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad: "Solace" (Roy Ayers JID002 2020) AY & ASM pay homage to Roy Ayers on the second of their brilliant Jazz Is Dead series. "A global movement lived through community & culture."
*Louie Ramirez: "Milestone" (Tribute To Cal Tjader 1986) Amer. boogaloo, salsa, vibraphonist & composer L Ramirez recognizes the greatness of latin musician/composer Cal Tjader.
*Don Tiki: "Itchy Palms" (The Forbidden Sounds Of... 1997) Local boys Kit Ebersbach (Perry Coma) composer/pianist & impresario Lloyd Kandell (Fluid Floyd) put together this world class exotica ensemble. They play gorgeous music with a sense of humor.

*Boozoo Bajou & Fursatti: "Hohensonne" (Finistere 2023) German downtempo, dubtronic duo of Peter Heider & Florian Seyberth team with German musician Fursatti on this cut.
*Fila Brazillia: "Lullaby Berkowitz" (Dicks 2004) Sonic experimentalists David McSherry & Steve Cobby began collaborating in 1990 when they sought more freedom & fluency.

*The EEs & Maike Jacobs: "Indian summer" (Temptations Of Sound 2024) Composers/musicians Claus Hartisch & Andre Neundorf bring a modern sensibility to 60s & 70s funk soul vibes. MJ: German singer & actress.
*New Visionaries: "Summer Rain feat. Hannah Williams" (Roadmaps 2024) UK based Aussie artist Joel Sarakula & Dutch musician Phil Martin are New Visionaries. They met and teamed up during Covid. HW: British soul singer.
*The Bahama Soul Club: "Ganja Day feat. Naomi Falcon" (Sundub Society 2023) German born multi-genre band based in Portugal is led by multi-inst. composer producer Oliver Belz. NF: Swedish singer-songwr. & ukulele player.

*Beats Antique: "Vardo" (Blind Threshold 2010) World fusion group from Oakland Ca. play experimental world fusion & electronic music. Members: David Satori, Zoe Zakes & Tommy Cappel.
*Spy From Cairo: "Marseilles Noir" (Arabadub 2012) Italian Moreno Visini (Spy From Cairo, Organic Grooves & Zeb) has produced more than 10 albums under his various monikers.
*The Karminsky Experience, Inc.: "The Wayward Camel" (The Power Of Suggestion 2003) British DJ & recording duo of James Munns & Martin Dingle.

*Jose Conde Y Ola Fresca: "BolitasdeArrozconPollo" (Ay! Que Rico 2004) Latin band out of Brooklyn NY led by Jose Conde play Cuban music mixed with funk and NYC attitude.
*Grupo Fantasma: "Arroz Con Frijoles" (Sonidos Gold 2008) Austin TX Latin big band known for their killer horn section. They backed up Prince at the 2007 ALMA awards.
*Bitman & Roban: "El Hechizo" (Musica Para Después De Almuerzo 2005) Christian Powditch (Roban) architect & composer & Jose Antonio Bravo (DJ Bitman) Chilean DJ, producer & composer.

*Nujabes: "Counting Stars" (2nd Collection ) Jun Seba was a Japanese producer, composer, DJ & arranger. After his death from a car accident in 2010 Nujabes became known as The Godfather of lo-fi hip hop.
*Uyama Hiroto: "Just For You" (Freedom Of The Son 2014) Jap. saxophonist, multi-inst. & producer who frequently collaborated with Nujabes.
