*Chris Joss: "Space Shimmy" (Hyperacusis 2020) French composer, producer, multi-inst. suffers from hyperacusis (album name) which indicates reduced tolerance to sounds.
*David Nesselhauf: "Transneptunians (1)" (Afrokraut II: The Lowbrow Manifesto 2018) German bassist & composer experiments with fusing krautrock & afrobeat and spans raw funk, stoner rock & tasty jazz.

*The Psychedelic Furs: "Sleep Comes Down" (Forever Now 1982) UK post punk band formed in 1977 by brothers Tim & Richard Butler. Their song "Pretty In Pink" was chosen by John Hughes as the title for his 1986 teen movie. The re-done song became their biggest hit to that point.
*Graham Parker: "Don't Let It Break You Down" (The Mona Lisa's Sister 1988) British rock singer and guitarist known for his group Graham Parker & The Rumour,

*The Electones: "Right Foot From Left" (If You'll Be Null, I'll Be Void 2009) Hallvard Hagen, Jens Petter Nilsen (Xploding Plastix) & Rita Augestad Knudsen (vox.) are a Norwegian jazz/electronic/pop group.
*Jenova 7 & Eddie Shinn: "Intergalactic Noir" (A Cosmic Safari 2016) Boston based multi-media artist Michael J. Sirois is Jenova 7. Every album is meant to be the soundtrack to an imaginary film. ES: Russian DJ & producer.
*Jah Wobble & The Invaders Of The Heart: "Symmetrical/Asymmetrical" (Everything Is No Thing 2016) English bassist, singer, poet & composer John Joseph Wardle was a founding member of influential post punk group Public Image Ltd. 

*Kinny & Horne: "The Telling Tabu" (Forgetting To Remember 2005) Singer/songwr. Caitlin Simpson (Kinny) is a Canadian ex-pat living in Norway. She teams up with legendary Norwegian electro/jazz producer & composer Espen Horne (Bobby Hughes Experience/Combination.)
*Esperanza Spalding: "Ways Together" (12 Little Spells  ) Amer. bassist, sing/songwr.  composer. She has won 5 Grammys.
*Wax Poetic: "Swing Swing" (Copenhagen 2006) NY based trip hop band founded by Swedish-Turkish sax, keys & composer Ilhan Ersahin feat. vox by Sissy Clemens.
*Khruangbin: "Mr. White" (The Universe Smiles Upon You 2015) Amer. band from Houston TX. Khrungbin translates to airplane in Thai as an homage to the Thai funk/rock that inspired the band.

*Charles Bradley:"The World (Is Going Up In Flames) feat. Menahan Street Band" (No Time For Dreaming 2011) Amer. funk, soul & R&B singer known as "The Screaming Eagle Of Soul" MSB: Brooklyn funk/soul instrumental band formed by Thomas Brenneck.

*The Mahotella Queens: "Mbube" (Kazet 2005) So. Afr. mbaqanga group Hilda Tloubatla, Amanda Nkosi & Nonkululeko Maseko formed in 1964 by producer Rupert Bopape. Hilda is the only original member.
*Miriam Makeba: "Malaisha (Bring The Axe)" (Comme Un Symphonie D'Amour 1979) So. Afr. singer exiled under Apartheid. Known as "Mama Africa" she became world famous before being able to return to So. Afr.
*Brenda Fassie: "Sum' Bulala" (Memeza 1998) So. Afr. anti-apartheid Afropop singer. Brenda was wlldly popular. She began her career at age 16 and became known as "So. Africa's Queen Of Pop." She died in 2004.

*The Jazzual Suspects: "This Beat" (This Beat/Be Dada Single-2021) Musician/producer Charlie Tate is The Jazzual Suspects influenced by his love of old school funky breaks, jazz/soul & hip hop.
