*Alice Russell: "Lights Went Out" (Pot Of Gold 2008) Alice Russell is a British soul singer who lists her influences as Aretha Franklin, Minnie Riperton, Eva Cassidy, Jill Scott & Chaka Khan.
*Baby Charles: "Hard Man To Please" (Baby Charles 2008) Soul funk band fm Brighton, UK only made one album fronted by Dionne Charles who went on to Beta Hector and guesting with various artists.
*Bella Brown & The Jealous Lovers: "Fast As Lightning" (Soul Clap 2024) Singer/songwr. Carol Hatchett is 'Bella Brown.' She leads the authentic funk & soul band with power and flair. Carol was once a 'Harlette" backing Bette Midler.

*Crowd Company: "Get Used To It" (Lowdown 2020) Their modern take on vintage soul/funk has garnered accolades from their peers with their Hammond organ based sound feat. powerful horns & soulful vocals.
*Diazpora: "Royals" (Ping Pong Powerplay 2020) German nu school funk band feat. David Nesselhauf on bass & Lucas Kochbeck on drums with guitarist/singer Axel Feige.
*The Electric Peanut Butter Company: "The Devil feat. Shawn Lee & Adrian Quesada" (Trans-Atlantic Psych Classics Vol. 2 2013) Amer. multi-inst. producer Shawn Lee met prolific multi-inst. prod. Adrian Quesada in 2010. Fans of one another, they created TEPBC and have put out 2 funk/psych albums.

*Everliven Sound & Inf: "Lone Ranger feat. Sarah-Ellen Saija" (Everlations Instrumentals 2012) Brit. brothers Cymarshal Law & Skit Slam (Everliven) teamed with Dutch producer Inf (Bas te Braak) to produce one album with vocals and one of instrumentals.
*Lemongrass: "Mystic Life" (Soulful 2020) German music project & record label created by DJ Roland Voss in 1996 promoting electronic, chill out and world music.
*Misha Panfilov & Shawn Lee: "Deep Sea Oddities" (Paradise Cove 2020) Estonian multi-inst prod. M. Panfilov & Amer. multi-inst. prod. Shawn Lee composed, edited and performed this tour de force of their collective styles.

*Mother Earth: "It Won't Be Long" (Living With The Animals 1968) Singer Tracy Nelson fronted this eclectic blues/rock band formed in California in 1967. Mike Bloomfield was the guitarist on this their first album.
*Shemekia Copeland: "Whole Lotta Water" (Wicked 2000) Blues, Americana & soul singer Shemekia Copeland is recognized as one of the outstanding voices of her generation as she performs with unmatched passion.
*Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings: "How Long Do I Have To Wait For You?" (Daptone Gold 2009) Sharon Jones has been described as a "fire breathing soul survivor & old school R&B dynamo." She passed away in Nov. of 2016 after battling cancer.
*Vito Lalinga (Vi Mode Inc. Project): "Fbi Investigations" (Acid Jazz & Funky Grooves 2021) Vito Lalinga is a self taught musician who grew to become a force on the Italian jazz/funk scene.

*Afro Soul System: "Tink Tank" (Single 2011) Congolese group from Burkina-Faso. Presented by Dutch DJ/prod. Phil Martin & musician Ton Van Der Kolk.
*The Barbecues: "Aaya Lolo" (Single 1972) AKA The Barbecues from Ghana feat. Tommy Darling, De Frank Kakra and Andy Vans.
*The Apagya Showband: "Tamfo Nyl Ekyir" (Life Stories 1973) Ghanaian music group put together by Ebo Taylor played jazz, funk & highlife. Apagya means "spark of fire."

*Juaneco Y Su Combo: "La Cumbia Del Pacurro" (Single 2012) Jueneco Y Su Combo is a Peruvian band known for their "cumbia selvatica" or cumbia from the jungle. Formed in the early 60s by Juan Wong Paredes.
*Money Chicha: "Te Acordaras" (Chica Summit 2021) Austin TX band playing psychedelic cumbia feat. A Quesada, Beto Martinez & Greg Gonzalez.
*Ondatropica: "3 Reyes De La Terapia" (Ondatropica 2012) Band formed by English  multi-inst. prod Will Holland (Quantic) and Colombian musician Mario Galeano during Holland's time living in Colombia.

*The Pillows: "Hybrid Rainbow" (FLCL Season Vol. 1 2005) Japanese rock band feat. sing/songwr. guitarist Sawao Yamanaka.
*Sadistic Mika Band: "Dontaku" (SMB/Black Ship 1973/74) Japanese glam rock/funk rock band formed by guitarist Kazuhiko Kato in the early 70s & feat. guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka.
*Masayoshi Takanaka: "Wild Mow-Mow" (Singer And Guitar Beat Collection ) Chinese-Japanese guitarist who changed his name to Takanaka when he became a naturalized Jap. citizen. Played in Apryl Fool with Haruomi Hosono as a high schooler.

*Antoine Villoutriex: "Les Boulevards De Paris (Club Des Belugas Remix)" (Nine 2016)) AV is a French sing. songwr. who writes and performs in French, English and German.
*Wax Poetic: "Girl feat. Ilhan Ersahin)" (Nublu Sessions 2003) NY based trip hop band founded by Turkish musician Ilhan Ersahin. Ersahin also composes and plays tenor sax & keyboards.
