*Afro Latin Vintage Orchestra: "Gibbon's Dub" (Last Odyssey 2012) ALVO founder percussionist, composer & producer, Masta Conga, Lionel Berton,  employs a variety of musicians according to the needs of the project.
*Sun Atlas: "Message From The Snakes" (Return To The Spirit 2024) Sun Atlas is a cinematic world music ensemble with their own sensibilities about their music and the presentation of the band. They keep identities under wraps and let the music do the talking.
*Oluma: "Felantropique" (Cooking Time 2024) Founded in 2021 by bassist Gregor Nicolai, drummer Andre Van Der Heide & sax player Roman Polatzky. They play a mix of Afrobeat, funk, jazz & Brazilian music.

*Aja West & Friends: "I Don't Need Love" (Total Recall 2007) Aja West was an Amer. funk musician, producer & label owner from Seattle, Wa. His band The Mackrosoft and the record label of the same name released a ton of avant garde, innovative music.  He passed away in 2022.
*TheEE's & Reggie Worthy: "I Mean Soul" (Temptations Of Sound 2023) Singer, comp. & bassist Reggie Worthy joins Andre Neundorf, keys & Claus Hartisch, guitar on this soulful cut.
*The Mighty Imperials: "Never Found A Girl feat. Joseph Henry" (Thunder Chicken 2001) Leon Michels, Homer Steinweiss, Nick Movshon & Sean Solomon were teens (16) when they cut this album. They called veteran soul shouter Joseph Henry for the vocals.

*Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad: "Black Love" (Jazz Is Dead Instrumentals 019 2023) Producers/multi-inst. AY & ASM use analog equipment to capture the vintage sounds of Jean Carne & Lonnie Liston Smith in these instrumental versions of their classic songs.
*Alan Evans Trio: "Book It" (Elephant Head 2021) Amer. composer, multi-inst. Alan Evans of Soulive, plays with guitarist Danny Mayer & organist Beau Sasser on this hard driving organ trio.
*Bonobo: "Kong" (Black Sands 2010) Simon Green (Bonobo) is a British musician, producer & DJ playing electronic music with a jazz & world music viewpoint. He founded his OUTLIER record label in 2020.

*Buena Vista Social Club: "Lagrimas Negras feat. Omara Portuondo" (Lost And Found 2015) BVSC is an ensemble of Cuban musicians gathered to revive the sounds of pre-revolution Cuba for a concert in the US. Produced by Amer. guitarist Ry Cooder. OP: Cuban singer/dancer whose career spanned over 50yrs.
*Adrian Quesada & Tita: "El Muchacho De Los Ojos Tristes" (Boleros Psicodélicos 2022) Austin Tx based prod., multi-inst. & composer compiled this collection of originals and covers to highlight the genre. Tita: Guatemalan singer
*Quantic & Nidia Gongora: "Se Lo Vi" (Curao 2017) Nidia Gongora is a Pacific folkloric singer from Colombia. She colloborated with Will Holland aka Quantic on several albums during his years living & recording in Colombia.
*Ondatropica: "Cumbia Especial" (Ondatropica 2012) Project of English producer Will Holland & Mario Galeano of Colombia.

*Omegaman: "Saturday Song feat. Linda" (Pheromone 2007) Australian musician/producer & composer Marc Scully is Omegaman. His eclectic & accomplished reputation is one of the best in his home country. Linda is sing/songwr. Svetlana Lvovna Geiman from Russia.
*Orgone: "Losin You" (Beyond The Sun 2015) LA based funk, soul & afrobeat band led by Sergio Rios on guit. and Dan Hastie on keys.
*Randa And The Soul Kingdom: "What You Need" (What You Need 2011) R&B band from Perth, Australia. By age 12 Randa Khamis was talking her way into local clubs. to dance She made up her mind to become a soul singer.

*Ray Barbee: "Taking Liberties" (In Full View 2005) Amer. pro skateboarder, multi-inst. & composer from San Jose Ca. has worked with fellow skater/musicians Tommy Guerrero & Matt Rodriguez.
*Tommy Guerrero: "Highway Hustle" (Road To Knowhere 2018) Pro skateboarder & guitarist TG from San Francisco Ca. was part of Blktop Project.
*Blktop Project: "A New Life" (Concrete Jungle 2016) Skater/musicians T Guerrero, M Rodriguez & Ray Barbee toured together as skaters and later combined to create their own music, both individually and as Blktop Project.

*Bebel Gilberto: "Alguém" (Tanto Tempo 2000) Daughter of Joao Gilberto & Miucha began singing back up as a child. She moved back to NY, where she was born, in 1991.
*Rosalia De Souza: "Opiniao" (D'Improvviso 2009) Brazilian bossa nova singer who studied music theory, Cuban percussion and jazz in Italy.
*Fernanda Porto: "Tanto Tempo Faz" (Auto-Retrato 2008) Drum n bossa singer/composer from Brazil. She studied music at the University of São Paulo in her twenties, specializing in piano.

*Ezra Collective: "Chris And Jane" (You Can't Steal My Joy 2019) British jazz quintet led by drummer Femi Koleoso & bassist TJ Koleoso fusing elements of afrobeat, calypso, reggae, hip hop, soul & jazz
*Funkallisto: "Fatebenefratelli" (Saturday Night Dogs 2017) Rome based jazz funk outfit Funkallisto play jazz/funk, afrobeat, rock, latin & soul music.
*Gene Harris & His Three Sounds: "Black Gold" (Elegant Soul 1968) Amer. jazz pianist & keyboard player played blues & gospel infused "soul jazz." 
*Groove Collective: "Balimka" (Groove Collective 1993) Amer. jazz/funk combo formed in NYC in the early 1990s.
