*Misha Panfilov & Golden Rules: "On The Hook" (The Originals 3 2023) Misha Panfilov is an Estonian comp. multi-inst. & prod. Golden Rules is a German label specializing in soul & funk.
*The Funk Revolution: "Scarlet Runner feat. Lucky Brown" (Space Dream 2023) Deep funk from Seattle multi-inst. prod. comp. Joel Ricci (Lucky Brown) out of his Westbound Recording label.

*Harry Hosono & The World Shyness: "Flying Saucer Breakdown" (Flying Saucer 1947 2007) Haruomi Hosono (Harry) is a Japanese musician, sing/songwr. prod. He is considered one of the most influential musicians in Jap. pop history.
*Harry Hosono & The Yellow Magic Band: "Japanese Rhumba" (Paraiso 1978) Co-founder of YMO with Ryuichi Sakamoto & Yukihiro Takahashi. YMO was formed in 1978 and is regarded as pioneering electronic music.
*Masayoshi Takanaka: "Two Of Us" (Singles-1985-1994 Complete Best ) Chinese-Japanese guitarist born in Tokyo was a member of influential glam rock outfit Sadistic Mika Band has had a long & successful solo career.

*Femina: "Brillando" (Perlas & Conchas 2019) Femina is an all female band from Argentina feat. Clara Miglioli on vox & guit., Sofia 'Toti' Trucco on vox, guit. & ronroco & Clara 'Wewi' Trucco on vox & perc. & flute. They originally met at 4 yrs old and later formed Femina in their teens.
*Adrian Quesada & Angelica Garcia: "Idolo" (Boleros Psicodélicos 2022) Prolific multi-inst. prod. & comp. AQuesada assembled multiple singers to assist on this project. AGarcia is an Amer. sing/songwr.
*Las Cafeteras: "Paletero" (Tastes Like L.A. 2016) A Latin band from East LA, Las Cafeteras fuses spoken word & folk music with trad. Son Jarocho & zapateado dancing. They seek to make music a tool for creating positive change & encourage other to do so, as well.

*Zouzoulectric: "Black African Jack" (Society Of Fragments 2018) Z combines swing, lounge & Latin with modern electronic music. Nelly Simon is the vocal heart of their cosmopolitan jazz sound.
*Pit Baumgartner & Joo Kraus: "I Sing (Trumpet Version)" (Low Sky Sketches 2014) PBaumgartner is a German-Austrian 'sound painter' prod. & the brains behind De-Phazz. Joo Kraus is a German trumpet & keyboard player.

*Issa Bajayogo: "N'Tana" (Mali Koura 2008) Malian musician who played the kamele n'goni: a 6 stringed W African inst. His fusion of African styles with electronic beats earned him the nickname "Techno Issa."
*Cheikh Lo: "Baissons Les Armes" (Balbalou 2015) Vocalist & drummer from Burkina Faso, W. Africa. He moved to Senegal and his first album was produced by Youssou N'Dour.
*Bela Fleck: "Ah Ndiya" (Throw Down Your Heart... 2009) Amer. banjo virtuoso B Fleck collaborated with Malian wassoulou musician Oumou Sangane on this track.

*Bebo Best & The Super Lounge Orchestra: "Mambajazz" (Jazzmamba 2016) Italian comp. musician prod. Bebo Baldan has collaborated with a vast range of artists from Frank Zappa to Nicola Conte. 
*Moacir Santos: "Coisa Numero 1" (Ouro Negro 2001) M. Santos was a Brazilian comp. multi-inst. & music educator. He was highly respected by musicians in Brazil & the U.S. despite never achieving wide spread fame.
*Forro In The Dark: "Craudineia No Forro" (Sandcastle 2017) New York collective of Brazilian ex-pats formed in 2002. Mauro Refosco (perc.) Guilherme Monteiro (guit.) & Jorge Continentino (pifanos, flutes, sax.) combine forro with rock, reggae, psychedelia, folk & more.

*The Meters: "Fire On The Bayou" (Fire On The Bayou 1975) Founding fathers of funk, The Meters music blends funk, blues & dance music with a N.O. vibe. They became the house band for Allen Toussaint's Sensu Enterprises Label.
*Dr. John: "Cabbage Head" (Goin' Back To New Orleans 1992) Amer. sing/songwr. Mac Rebennack began playing piano at the age of 6. As a young man he immersed himself in the music & voodoo culture of N.O. eventually becoming "Dr. John The Night Tripper."
*Coco Robicheaux: "Cryin' Inside" (Spiritland 1995) Curtis John Arceneaux was an Amer. blues musician & artist. He was a contemporary & collaborator with Dr. John.

*Clutchy Hopkins & Lord Kenjamin: "Heavy Hands" (Music Is My Medicine 2009) Mystery musician C. Hopkins was supposedly 'discovered' when some tapes surfaced in the early 2000's. No one knows his actual identity. Lord Kenjamin is equally difficult to pin down.
*Anderson .Paak: "Left To Right (Inst.)" (Oxnard 2018) A .Paak is an Amer. musician/producer from Oxnard, Ca. Formed super duo Silk Sonic with Bruno Mars in 2021.
*Baby Mammoth: "The Devil Lies" (Best Foot Forward 2000) Baby Mammoth is a UK band feat. Mark Blissenden & Andrew Burdall playing off center acid jazz & inst. hip hop.
*Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band: "I Need Somebody To Love Tonight" (Expansions 2021) German funky steel band from Hamburg led by multi-inst. Bjorn Wagner who also leads the Mocambo Allstars.
