*Makaya McCraven: "This Place That Place" (In These Times 2022) M. McCraven is an Amer. jazz drummer & prod. His father, Steven was a drummer & mother is Hungarian folk singer Agnes Zsigmondi.

He was also the driving force behind The Mackrosoft group playing funk, fusion, soul jazz & electronic music releasing a steady stream of albums btwn 2000 & his death in 2022.

*Don Tiki: "Heat" (Skinny Dip With Don Tiki 2001) Bandleader & keyboardist Kit Ebersbach (Perry Coma) & empresario Lloyd Kandell (Fluid Floyd) created Don Tiki in 1997 and have been amazing local & international audiences with their lush, tropical presentations ever since.

*Tam Tam 2000: "Melhor Futuro" (Synthesize The Soul...2017) Music of the Cape Verde Islands from TT200 formed in France in 1976.

*The Cutlass Dance Band: "Them Go Talk Of You" (Single-1973) Ghanaian group plays traditional Highlife with gospel influences. Led by guit. Osenkafo I.K. Anin, they were popular from the late 70s thru the early 90s.

*Jovelina Pérola Negra: "Santo Forte" (Amigos Chegados 1990) Considered one of the 'great ladies' of samba, Jovelina "Black Pearl" passed away from a heart attack at age 54 before realizing her dream of giving her children what she didn't have.
