*Isabelle Antena: "La Pecheresse A La Ligne" (Late Night Reworks ) Isabelle Antena (Powaga) is a French pop & jazz singer. She began her career in the trio Antena, where she took her stage name.

*Zimpala: "Trop Mechante" (Honeymoon 2006) Zimpala is a French nu-jazz, downt. project directed by prod. DJ Frederic Beneix (BNX) with singer Noemie Brosset.

*Wax Poetic: "Good & Evil feat. Gabriel Gordon" (On A Ride 2012) WP is a NY based trip hop band founded in 1997 by Turkish musician prod. Ilhan Ersahin. G Gordon is a NYC based sing/songwr & guit.

*Vintage League Music: "A Little Bit Of Sunshine feat. Brother GoodLove" (Family Album Vol. 1 2021) Vintage League Music is a label created & curated by musician, prod. Alan Evans. Brother GoodLove is sing/songwr. Stephane Detchou.

*Stevie Wonder: "Knocks Me Off My Feet" (Songs In The Key Of Life 1976) Steveland Morris (SWonder) is an Amer. multi-inst. comp. sing. humanitarian & social activist. Blind since shortly after birth he began his career as "Little Stevie Wonder" and became one of the most iconic figures of the 20th century.

*The Wailers: "One Foundation" (Burnin' 1973) Jamaican reggae & ska group formed in 1963 & feat. Bob Marley & Peter Tosh as the primary songwriters. Later became Bob Marley & The Wailers.

*Peter Tosh: "African" (Super Hits ) Jam. sing/songwr. multi-inst. Peter Tosh was a founding member of The Wailers with B. Marley before starting his solo career in 1974. He was murdered in 1987 during a home invasion.

*Ozomatli: "Esa Morena" (Coming Up-EP 2003) Ozomatli are based in LA & combine Latin music with world music, funk & hip hop. They are known for their social activism & energetic live shows.

*Ondatropica: "Papi Shingaling" (Ondatropica 2012) Project of Brit. musician prod. Will Holland (Quantic) & Colombian musician & bandleader Mario Galeano (Frente Cumbiero.)

*Grupo Fantasma: "Rebotar" (Sonidos Gold 2008) Austin TX Latin band with a fiery horn section led by Beto Martinez on guit. & formerly A. Quesada prod. guit. The band was a favorite of Prince & backed him on numerous occasions.

*Ocote Soul Sounds: "Tres Ratas" (Coconut Rock 2009) OSS was founded by New Yorker Martin Perna in 2003. He collaborated with A. Quesada until Quesada left the group after this album in 2009.

*Gramatik: "Swucca Chust" (Water 4 The Soul 2009) Gramatik is Denis Jasarevic, Slovenian electro & hip hop prod. currently living in NYC. 

*Max Sedgley: "Devil Inside" (Devil Inside 2005) Brit. prod. multi-inst. & DJ Max Sedgley plays electro, trip hop & nu funk. The featured singer is Z-Star (Zee Gachette) who is also a songwr.

*DJ Medhi: "Footprints (DJ Mehdi Dub)" (Blue Note Revisited ) DJ Medhi was a French hip hop & house prod. & DJ who passed away in 2011. This song is his rework of Amer. jazz saxophonist comp. Wayne Shorter.

*The Barbecues: "Aaya Lolo" (Aaya Lolo Single 1972) The Barbecues were a Ghanaian group feat. Andy Vans, De Frank Kakrah & Tommy Darling. 

*Asaase Ase: "Ohiani Sua Efir" (7" 1975) This release was a side project of Ebo Taylor. The participants are 'boys from the street.' No professional musicians were used. The name translates as 'underground.'

*Malombo Jazz Men: "Abie's Mood" (Spirit Of Malombo 2014) Feat. So. African musicians jazz flutist harmonica player, sing/songwr. Abbey Cindi & drummer comp. & bandleader Julian Bahula.

*Lizzy Parks: "All That (Natural Self Remix)" (Single-2009) Lizzy Parks is a jazz & soul sing/songwr. from Devon England. She broke through with her involvement with Nostalgia 77.

*Tape Five: "Pantaloons feat. Yuliet Topaz" (Tonight Josephine! 2010) Tape Five is a German bossa nova style project from prod. comp. Martin Strathausen. Yuliet Topaz is a German singer.

*Club Des Belugas: "Bye-Bye Baby I Won't Come Back feat. Anna-Luca" (Nine 2016) CdB is a German nu jazz band led by Maxim Ilion (Martin Kratzenstein) & Kitty The Bill (Katrin Stoffel.) Anna-Luca is a Germ. sing/songwr.

*The Mighty Show-Stoppers: "Hippy Skippy Moon Strut" (Black Feeling 2007) Funky tour de force by Australian prod. guit. Lance Ferguson with members of The Bamboos, Cookin' On 3 Burners & others. The band names are all made up and then the funky fun begins.

*Vito Lalinga: "Fbi Investigations" (Acid Jazz & Funky Grooves ) Italian musician Vito Lalinga taught himself the guitar at age 5. In the 90s he became a DJ and is now pursuing modern production techniques.

*Vintage League Music: "Slammin' feat. Kris Yunker, Will Blades & Mike Dillon" (Family Album Vol. 1 2021) Amer. organist & keyboardist Kris Yunker is a sought after keys player. Will Blades is an organist & multi-inst. Mike Dillon is an Amer. percussionist, vibraphone player & singer.
